 Ramon Miranda, better known as "Junior" to most folks that know him, was born in New Jersey but grew up in Puerto Rico. At the age of thirteen, Jr. returned to the states to live in Pennsylvania for five years.
In 1984 Jr. moved to Florida where he finished his senior year at Riverdale High School. He attended school half days and worked the other half at A.W. Kelley's Gardens. Jrs' enthusiasm to learn the plant business moved him up the ranks to salesman early on.
At twenty-two Jr. married and later had a beautiful daughter, Isamar. She has been his pride and joy in life. Isamar has been involved with competitive travel soccer for years and appeared in newspaper articles regarding her success. She was also voted M.V.P. in 2006 in track and field.
Jr. has worked at A.W. Kelley's Gardens, Inc. for the past twenty-three years. Working closely with the late Arthur Kelley and his family has helped him grow as a businessman. He has gained immeasurable knowledge about the horticultural trade, too in-depth to list. His cultured bilingual skills are utilized regularly to communicate with his crew leaders, customers, and plant vendors. Currently he is the General Manager making it a priority to supply great customer service and high quality plants for the company's clientele.
